Can we come and see you play?
We will be happy to assist you in achieving this, but we regret that we cannot normally invite prospective clients to private events. For now please have a look at our videos on youtube.


My event is in Tasmania, do you travel?!
We like to think anything is possible! However, the band usually works regularly in the North West of England. If you are farther afield, we will take you through the logistical and cost implications when you contact us.


How long are your performance times?
We'll play up to 2 hours usually split into 2 sets of 45 min – hour…. but we're flexible and will play what is required for your event and also adjust accordingly if your event ends up running late (which is often the case for weddings and charity balls).


Do you provide a P.A and lights?
Yes, we would normally be self-contained. Very large venues may require hiring of a P.A, but this will be discussed at the booking stage.


How long does it take you to set up?
About 1 hour but venues that have difficult access to the stage, such as not being on the ground floor, will of course mean it takes us longer to set up. We shall liaise with the venue to clarify the best time for us to arrive.


What happens if one of you is ill, or on holiday?
Good question. Classique prides it’s self on the fact that we have NEVER let any of our clients down. As a backup we have a collective of understudy singers and instrumentalists which are all to the professional standard of the A Team. Please note; we can’t always guarantee that the singer you saw us play with will be the singer on stage at your event.


We have a special song – will you play it?
The important thing is to mention this when booking. We will make every effort to perform your song at your event.

Do your wear on stage?
Smart – casual depending on the event, usually black suits for the guys.

What's the best times to play at our wedding reception?
Again we are flexible and are happy to play when you require, but from our experience the following has worked well. Presuming you have a buffet we would perform a shorter 1st set, starting with your first dance, for about 45 minutes up to the buffet, and then a 2nd longer set of about 1 hour after everyone has eaten. We have also found that it is best not to start performing too early – we recommend no earlier than 8.30pm. Our main aim is to make sure your guests are up and dancing for as much of the evening as possible!


What happens to the music when you are not performing?
If you have not booked a DJ for your event then we can provide suitable pre-selected recorded playlists of usual party favorites or background dinner music. If you wish your guests to be able to ask for more "random" songs then it would be better to get a DJ.


Can we choose the songs you play?
By all means express your likes and dislikes to us but a big part of our job is to make sure your guests have a great time - so if your happy to leave it to us, you won't be disappointed


Do you require a deposit when booking?
Usually we will ask for a 25% booking fee which is non-refundable if you cancel your event within 6 months of the date


Are you insured?
Yes. Classique musicians only use PAT-tested equipment and carry full Public Liability Insurance.


Will you require food and drinks?
Yes please! If there isn't a buffet, then ideally a hot meal, but if not some sandwiches will be fine. If this is a problem let us know and we can make our own arrangements off site. Please read our rider page for more info.


Do you drink on stage?
Only water......that’s only if we get chance as our songs segue pretty quickly! We are all drivers and consummate professionals so we won’t be indulging in anything other than a small glass of wine or beer in between sets!!


I have a mate that says he can put a band together for £200!
Yes, we’ve all been there! We believe that you get what you pay for, and when you book Classique you get a pro band that will make your event amazing! Don’t you deserve that?


How much do you cost?
There are a number of factors that affect this. They include Event Location, Booking Duration, Event Day/Date and Band Lineup.
Please bear in mind that the band may be cheaper to book on a day other than Friday/Saturday, or in January rather than August! Classique offers some alternative lineup solutions to ensure we can meet your budget. For a quote, please contact us.


Does your time of arrival and when you leave affect the cost?
Yes it does. The price we quote presumes that we set up for 7pm and can start packing down our equipment by 1230am. If you need us there a lot earlier or wish us to perform very late, such as before a wedding breakfast or in a night club, then we will provide you with a quote taking the extra time into account.


Are there any hidden costs?
No. We will always quote a fee which is fully inclusive of all costs.
